About Us

Our Mission

The mission of Integrative Medicine of Central New York is to provide a whole health approach that bridges conventional and natural practices, empowering patients to tap into their own innate healing ability.

Our Vision

Integrative Medicine of Central New York will be a leader in facilitating trust in the patient-provider relationship based in holistic care, using conventional, and natural healing practices to empower patients in their healing. We strive to change the paradigm of disease-focused care to one of whole person care. Our health care model embraces the importance of listening to the patient’s story and experience to reveal the dis-ease in their whole being. We recognize the interwoven nature of mind, body, spirit, and community, which contributes to the overall state of health of each individual and will address each of these aspects of the whole person throughout their care.

It is here she feels she will be able to be a part of a practice dedicated to healing, helping, and educating its patients.

Beth Aust RN, HC has worked in the nursing field for 25 years in a multitude of areas. She became a LPN in 1992, and a registered nurse in 2001 in pursuit of a field to support her compassion of helping others.

Jennifer is excited to be working among like-minded individuals, and looking forward to expanding her knowledge of integrative medicine at IM of CNY!

Rebecca is a Registered Nurse with a passion for helping people and providing compassionate care. She has experience in medical/surgical nursing, and enjoys her work in the hospital setting where she can help patients that are experiencing acute illnesses.

Rebecca is very excited to have found a place to learn and work in Integrative Medicine, which is a specialty that she is passionate about. Her interest in IM was first sparked by watching her father weave acupuncture and herbal medicine, along with traditional western medicine, into his veterinary practice with great benefit to his patients.

She is passionate about health and wellness, and believes that mind, body, and spirit are all interconnected and need to be nurtured to achieve optimal health and well-being.

Gillian Brod is a highly intuitive, passionate being who feels she fits right in here at our practice in this loving and progressive environment.  She has a passion for wellness, and loves the integration of eastern and western methods offered and encouraged here.  Her own wellness journey introduced her to lots of new knowledge of all that goes into achieving optimum wellness and quality of life.  She began her learning when her health failed inexplicably five years ago.  This opportunity introduced her to a passion for wellness that has led her to Level 1 Reiki certification, and pursuance of other natural practices.

Gillian has been a nanny for the last four years and enjoyed her time with children.  Over these last years she has lived in many cities across the country and has now relocated to the Syracuse area to pursue her passions in Reiki and holistic healing methods.  She took her Reiki level 1 class held here in our office with our own, Heidi Baldwin.  The class truly changed her life and after experiencing the serene, kind environment of our office, she could not stop dreaming of working in a place similar to this.  She was thrilled when she found out they were hiring and has loved every moment here since!

Gillian is overjoyed to be a part of the team here at Integrative Medicine of Central New York, and looks forward to connecting with all of the patients, making them feel at home and loved.

For the last 10 years holistic health practices have become a passion of mine.  I continue to strive to learn as much as I can about integrative medicine and healthy living.  When I learned of an opportunity to join the team at IM of CNY, I knew this would be a great place to join like- minded people and to continue to expand my knowledge of integrative medicine so I can help others understand how to make small changes in their lifestyle to promote good health and wellness.

Helping people has always been a focus of mine as I have my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a focus in Gerontology.  I spent many years helping seniors and their families navigate the challenges of living in a nursing home. As a licensed financial advisor for the last 5 years, I help families create a financial roadmap for success to lessen the financial stressors they may face in their daily lives.

I am excited to be a part of a team of great people who value the power of holistic healing and integrative medicine, and look forward to helping guide our patients through their health journeys.
