About Us

Our Mission

The mission of Integrative Medicine of Central New York is to provide a whole health approach that bridges conventional and natural practices, empowering patients to tap into their own innate healing ability.

Mission
VISION

Our Vision

Integrative Medicine of Central New York will be a leader in facilitating trust in the patient-provider relationship based in holistic care, using conventional, and natural healing practices to empower patients in their healing. We strive to change the paradigm of disease-focused care to one of whole person care. Our health care model embraces the importance of listening to the patient’s story and experience to reveal the dis-ease in their whole being. We recognize the interwoven nature of mind, body, spirit, and community, which contributes to the overall state of health of each individual and will address each of these aspects of the whole person throughout their care.

Meet Our Team

Team

For the last 10 years holistic health practices have become a passion of mine.  I continue to strive to learn as much as I can about integrative medicine and healthy living.  When I learned of an opportunity to join the team at IM of CNY, I knew this would be a great place to join like- minded people and to continue to expand my knowledge of integrative medicine so I can help others understand how to make small changes in their lifestyle to promote good health and wellness.

Helping people has always been a focus of mine as I have my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a focus in Gerontology.  I spent many years helping seniors and their families navigate the challenges of living in a nursing home. As a licensed financial advisor for the last 5 years, I help families create a financial roadmap for success to lessen the financial stressors they may face in their daily lives.

I am excited to be a part of a team of great people who value the power of holistic healing and integrative medicine, and look forward to helping guide our patients through their health journeys.

Danielle is very eager to continue her journey as a registered nurse with Integrative Medicine of CNY. She has always had a passion for healing and caring for people.

After high school, she completed training at Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage, and practiced as a licensed massage therapist for six years. The joy and satisfaction she got from helping people through healing touch and seeing that smile when they felt better was the inspiration for her to study nursing at Mohawk Valley Community College where she achieved an associate degree. Finally, she earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Keuka College.  Danielle has ten years of experience as an RN, and more than half of which was in Oncology. If there’s one thing she has learned in more than 16 years of providing therapy and treatment for patients, it’s that healing begins within oneself.

Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. They enjoy family game nights, bike rides, movie nights, going to concerts, and laughing together. Danielle has a bright and positive spirit which is led by her heart. “There’s nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile.”  ~R. Hunter

“The past and present wilt

And proceed to fill my next fold of the future …”

Presented with the task of writing my biography, I joked that it felt very much like writing my own obituary, and no one wants bland words on a page… so here goes:

Medical Admin and Future Auto Cross Racer

Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist

Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist

Prior work was in the Banking, Accounting and Insurance services (the organized crimes)

Like most people, I’ve lived a full life with many changes and challenges, some were tough lessons, some have changed my life directions, thankfully I’ve always been blessed and lucky.

A voracious reader, ever passionate for Creating & Design, Metalsmithing (Jeweler), golf, 4x4 overlanding/camping, and anything to do with being out on the water.  Covid lockdown was spent learning how TIG & MIG Weld and rescuing Pit bulls (make no mistake, those spoilt teddy bears rescued me).  As Magnus Walker says “If you don’t bother with convention, anything is possible”, so absolutely I’m down for that auto cross racer challenge.   A salty child of the tides, always yearning to return;  always learning, finding new purpose, new energies, new fun.
